The comic book artist behind The

NEWS Walking Dead series has drawn new zombie-

themed illustrations to help combat Covid-19.

Charlie Adlard -who lives in Shrewsbury, UK

worked with Shropshire Council to create the

public health messages which urge residents

to wash their hands, get tested and respect

social distancing. Mr Adlard has drawn for

comics like Judge Dredd, X-Files and Savage,

but is best known as the illustrator of The

Walking Dead. He said he hoped the designs

would encourage "everyone to do their bit". Tap
